Ken Cassar is the principal analyst at Slice Intelligence, where he oversees Slice's research agenda; identifying and contextualizing e-commerce industry trends from Slice's panel of 4 million U.S. online consumers.
Ken brings a rich online retail background to Slice Intelligence. Most recently, Ken was the senior vice president, media analytic solutions at Nielsen, where he developed several innovative digital commerce measurement and advertising effectiveness solutions. Prior to Nielsen, Ken was an analyst at Jupiter Research, where he was an early thought leader, trusted adviser and media source on e-commerce. His prescient outlook on fledgling e-commerce industry was a key contributor to Jupiter’s dominance as a digital media zeitgeist at the dawn of the Internet.
Ken has an MBA and Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. Ken aspires to stay technologically ahead of his teenage children, as evidenced by his ‘Gadget Geek’ Slice profile. He also has the appropriate jacket for every occasion.
Vice President, Product
Dave has over 14 years of experience across eCommerce, Media, and Platform Monetization. He started his career at Robertson Stephens building a research portal and electronic trading solutions. He then went to Razorfish, PayPal, & eBay, where he built new, innovative solutions including a new data licensing business with proprietary products and partnerships.
From there, Dave spent time at Yahoo Mail, Messenger, and Mobile where he built targeting products. Dave progressed to become Vice President of Monetization at CBS where he was responsible for Ad Products, Partnerships, Operations, and Yield Management across Search, Display, Mobile, & Video. Most recently, Dave was the Product Marketing lead for Ad Targeting & Measurement at Facebook, where he grew spend by 2X year over year, and the Head of Global Partnerships for LiveRail, via Facebook acquisition in 2014.
Dave holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Davis and an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University. Dave lives in Cupertino and is a diehard Niners and Warriors fan. He and his wife have two boys and when he isn’t chasing after them he enjoys watching movies, taking photos, and spending time with friends and family.
Vice President, Marketing and PR
Jaimee Minney is head of marketing and public relations at Slice Intelligence, where she is responsible for building the company’s brand and telling great stories with Slice data.
Jaimee possesses an extensive background in digital media and measurement. As vice president, corporate communications, she established m:metrics as the industry standard for mobile media measurement. After the startup was acquired by comScore, Jaimee served as vice president of corporate communications and expanded the online measurement company’s influence in the mobile sector. Most recently, she was head of public relations at Rhapsody, the digital music service, where she repositioned the company and its executives as thought leaders in a crowded and competitive industry. She also had a successful career as a PR agency owner and executive, working with a variety of clients in the digital media and mobile sectors.
Jaimee has a Bachelors Degree in public relations from Drake University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her Slice profile reveals she is a Jetsetter, often travelling to pursue her other passions: live music, outdoor adventures and great food and wine.
Senior Vice President, Analytic Solutions
John has more than 20 years of Client Service and Sales leadership experience from companies at the nexus of research, technology, and innovation. At Slice, John drives the company’s sales strategy and leads the sales and analytic solutions operations.
Prior to joining Slice, John was Chief Revenue Officer at Nailbiter, Inc. where he oversaw, developed and drove all revenue and client operations. Before that, John was a Global Senior Vice President at Affinnova (later acquired by The Nielsen Company), a marketing technology company focused on innovation. There, John built a new business line into the fastest growing revenue generator for the company.
Earlier in his career, he was the Vice President of Business Development leading the Healthcare vertical at The Nielsen Company and held senior sales leadership roles at Spectra, which was acquired by Nielsen.
John graduated from Muhlenberg College and earned his MBA from the City University of New York’s Zicklin Business School, where he later served as an adjunct lecturer.
